Benefits of Palmira Estates
The Palmira Estates farm is an impressive testament to resilience and tireless work. Originally, this farm lay in ruins, abandoned and forgotten by the passage of time. With the pandemic, coupled with the advanced age of its previous owners, its crops were in decline, and a history that seemed sealed by oblivion, the farm’s future seemed bleak. However, the Alvarado family decided to focus on its recovery and transformation.
Over the years, the team faced enormous challenges, such as resurrecting the coffee plantations, which seemed impossible to revitalize. But thanks to their dedication and a deep connection with the land, they managed to bring life back to every corner of the farm. Over time, the coffee crops flourished again, the landscape was filled with green, and we are now beginning construction of the mill with modern facilities that combine cutting-edge technology with traditional practices.
The coffee that Palmira Estates now produces is a reflection of the perseverance of its owners. With exceptional quality, each cup of coffee tells the story of the farm.
We are proud to preserve the first geisha plants that originally arrived in the Boquete region, and we have replanted them in the new area of the farm.
Visiting Palmira Estates is not only an agricultural experience, but also a lesson in how, with effort and passion, adversity can be transformed into success stories.
Best regards, Management.
